賽季開季至今僅僅花了三場分站賽事,便讓駕駛著那台在電能回收與底盤極限邊緣掙扎的賽車的 Max Verstappen,在以 P8 成績越過終點線後,於日本站賽後面對媒體時拋出:「我不排除在 2026 年底提前結束這一切。」的驚人發言。比起一份向車隊或賽會威脅的籌碼,在多數車迷看來,這更像是一份對 F1 這項運動的公開告別。對 Max 而言,做為最高賽事殿堂,追求的理應是膽識與極限的博弈,而當今賽制與車隊內部環境,正無形消磨著這樣的熱情。

而其中最令 Max 難以承受的,或許是身邊「最後一道防線」的瓦解。與他合作近十年、情同手足的賽事工程師 Gianpiero Lambias e已確定將於合約結束後投奔 McLaren,而前端開發技師 Ole Schack 亦傳出離隊消息。當維修區裡熟悉的面孔被一個個置換,那個曾經對 Max 而言是第二個家的紅牛,現在反而更像是一個陌生且運作失靈的辦公室。

當「天賦」不再是解答

除了人事崩裂,2026 年的新規改制更觸碰了 Max 作為純粹賽車手的底線。他曾諷刺新一代賽車是「打了類固醇的 Formula E」,這並非對電動化的排斥,而是對駕駛本質被稀釋的控訴。在追求極致能源管理的規則下,車手必須在直線區段提前收油、反覆切換充電模式,這讓過彎極限大幅降低。
